The Egadi Islands make up a wonderful archipelago surrounded by a turquoise blue sea. The boat trip is the most evocative way to discover them also “from the sea”, admiring the most fascinating views, the natural caves that draw imaginative shapes, diving or snorkelling into the clear waters.
The planned stop on the two islands will make you enjoy the typical “island” atmosphere that you can breathe all year round in these beautiful seaside villages. Favignana, the “butterfly”, as it is often called the island for the two wings that seem deployed on the blue flower of the sea, owes its current name to the wind Favonio, while in ancient times was called Aegusa.
In recent times, its history is linked to the Florio family that implants a trap, whose imposing mass still dominates the landscape, near the port.
Levanzo has a very wild nature, there are no rolling roads and the only way to turn it is on foot or by bike. The island is a real natural oasis where the presence of man is very discreet, in perfect harmony with the beauty and peace of the landscape.
