Together with Favignana and Levanzo, Marettimo is the small archipelago of the Egadi, three small islands off the coast of Trapani, set in a beautiful sea, a thousand shades of turquoise blue. Marettimo is the smallest and the wildest island.
There are pebble beaches on the slopes of the promontory of Punta Troia, near the bend of Scalo Maestro and small sandy coves reachable only by sea. Do not miss the wonderful bays of Cala Bianca and Cala Nera.
The waters are crystal clear, because of the strong currents that cross these stretches of uncontaminated and wild coasts, where they have been sighted also specimens of monk seal of the Mediterranean (it is said that the Cave of the Camel is their favorite area).
