Minicruise Alicudi & Filicudi

Daily departures from Lipari, from June to September

The Aeolian Islands, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, make up a wonderful group of lands that emerge from the crystalline sea.

Alicudi and Filicudi, the “twin islands”, the most distant of the archipelago of the Aeolian Islands, but the most fascinating of all.

Tour Program

The excursion begins in the morning, departure from the port of Lipari, we will head towards the island of Alicudi, passing through the “mouths of the volcano”, the channel that separates the islands of Vulcano and Lipari. The navigation will continue leaving the green Salina with its twin cones on the right, and the island of Filicudi, the second stage of our journey, until we reach the most distant and wild island, Alicudi.

Having reached the first stop of our journey, it will be possible to notice how time seems to have stopped on this island, no cars, no roads, only the sound of the sea and the primordial beauty of an almost uninhabited island (about 80 people), who lives off fishing and agriculture, where nature is the undisputed master.

The second stage of our journey will be Filicudi, where it will be possible to admire the Canna, a 70 m high volcanic neck, like a blade stuck in the sea, the Grotta del Bue marino, a mystical place on the island, then passing through the Giafante rock up to reach Filicudi Port. Once on the island, you can enjoy the beauty of its coves where you can swim, the small village, and various walks that lead to breathtaking views, such as the one towards the ancient millstones or the one towards Capo Graziano a natural fortress where you can see remains of a prehistoric village reachable in about 20 min.

The day will end skirting the promontory of Capo Graziano with its transparent sea, reaching again the port of Lipari.
