The Aeolian Islands, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, make up a wonderful group of lands that emerge from the crystalline sea.

Lipari and Salina are the two largest of the 7 islands that make up the Aeolian archipelago and also the most developed from a tourist point of view.

TOUR PROGRAM

The excursion starts in the morning from Lipari, we will skirt the castle of Lipari, Monte Rosa and the bay of Canneto, the hamlets of Acquacalda and Porticello, to then come to admire the beautiful pumice quarries where the white of the pumice mountains mirrored in the blue sea.

We will leave the island and then head towards Salina, famous for the cultivation of capers and for its vineyards of Malvasia grapes.

The first stop will be S.Marina Salina, the most important town on the island, where it will be possible to stroll through the streets overlooking the sea and visit the church of Santa Marina.

We will then leave for Lingua, while sailing it will be possible to admire the bay of Pollara, famous from the film “il Postino” by Massimo Troisi, an amphitheater of volcanic rock overlooking the sea, closed to the north by Punta Perciato with its turquoise waters, to proceed along the verdant coasts characterized by the strong presence of terraces and vineyards.

Landed in Lingua, you will discover this small coastal village, famous for its seaside restaurants, its coves where you can swim, the lighthouse and the salt lake which gave its name to this island.

In the afternoon boarding for Lipari, during the navigation it will be possible to admire the west side of Lipari, full of caves and inlets, such as the rock of the seagulls, the Torricelle, the Lovers’ cave, to then arrive near the Faraglioni and be enchanted by these two giants of the sea, fascinated by the Grotta degli Angeli and finally fascinated by the colorful beaches of Valle Muria and Praia Vinci.
